Book very very sharp, not to put all hands. +2 Minimum, certain formulas are demanding. But the content is up on current knowledge, and will delight engineers and architects who dream of pushing the wood in these trenches ... provided you find the wood that goes well (my sawmill still does not know what the Eurocode 5; if not, this book will serve you: o) For those less interested in the field calculations (but a little anyway) I recommend the excellent "Carpenter Today" by René Demotz. More accessible and directly usable in the field.
