Simply a beautiful piece watches craftsmanship with a simple, timeless design, where one enjoys every day.

The Swiss clock tickert very softly to himself, you would have to go very close to Ran with the ear to hear it. No comparison to the low-cost China-movements, the staple partially so loud that it is really annoying at night when the clock is on the nightstand. Deviation in my previous automatic / manual winding watches had been reduced to 10-20 seconds deviation per day. When Fortis I have relatively accurate -2 seconds deviation per day, ie -1 minutes a month. That is a top value for one automatic watch.
The operation is very simple: a crown stage pull out to date (turn clockwise) or weekday (turn to the left) adjust, pull out crown two steps for the time. The two buttons for the chronograph (stopwatch) have a fairly hard, crisp pressure point. Readability of the clock is top. On frills which degrades the readability of the clock, has been omitted.
Even the leather bracelet is the best of the processing, which I had been in their hands. That's right thick leather, which was padded in the middle again. Qualitatively again a corner better than the already not bad genuine leather bracelets, which can usually be found in the 30-class on the net so. Especially ingenious is at Fortis of course, that the shape of the leather strap has been adjusted up seamlessly on the clock. This is what makes the clock more, I think. Downside of course is that you can only use original Fortis bracelets, and because the price beats Fortis again properly. Alone a folding clasp costs at Fortis as much as elsewhere a whole clock. But this one has just also something exclusive and special beauty.
Conclusion:
Quality and workmanship of the clock are outstanding in my eyes, so that the purchase price is more than justified. The design is beautiful and timeless, a real eye-catcher. Even after more than a month, I still can not get enough of it myself. On the piece you really last a lifetime.
