As usual, I bought "the last Thilliez" upon its release. I was really excited to read & to find one of my favorite contemporary French authors. But (there is a but!), This time I was a disappointed hair.
If Puzzle is definitely a good thriller, which reads easily, which leaves gently devour; it is not exactly brimming with originality, it must be admitted: - /
I've seen it happen in the history of kms (always awkward for a thriller when we guess ts quickly how the scenario will be shot!), The frame bcp doing too much thinking to classic Shutter Island style. And above all, still uses Thilliez & yet (perhaps once too often in my opinion) fetish elements -> snow, isolation ds mountain, schizophrenia, etc.
This is all déjà vu, in particular & Vertigo largely better!
But I still had a great time reading;) The writing is still fluid, enjoyable. So I put 4 stars, in still regretting not being able to put in 5 ...
