This book is just exciting. I take great pleasure to leaf through it, and I travel quite often find that, when I had the intention to consult just one or the other page, I just spent 10 or 20 minutes to read, not rather to savor these texts and images that the authors have carefully associated. One could imagine a book that captures so much attention to a man (almost) 40 years old let his indifferent children 11, 9 and 7 years. Not at all. The elder takes it with her even for short journeys by car, to not miss any opportunity to devour its pages. Somewhat against the advice of his mother, who feared that this beautiful book is damaged through being carted here and there. You leave the admiring reading of authors, of their intelligence and their love of the subject. Best of all, you come out of this reading love again in the history of France, with its ups and downs, its twists and turns, and determined - what is the purpose of the study of history - to follow positively to what we learn from the past. Authors, congratulations.
