Customer Review

Above all, you must know that I love the music of Taylor Swift, and I could not seem objective, but I'll do my best. The country does not reject me, as most Europeans. And discovering Miss Swift in 2008, I threw myself on her first two albums, before acquiring the third right out two years later. The three had me; they all offered very different songs of others, despite their proximity in the country music field. We already felt in "Speak Now" is a start, however, loomed; certain songs ("Story of Us," "Better than Revenge" for example) is tinged with a more pop sound / rock than the others.

But it is true that Taylor Swift does not appeal as much on our side of the Atlantic than in the US with this recipe; and that's a shame. Because she deserves it. Besides her good girl image, American guy, and his world country very cute, her voice and her lyrics are quality. Most people can not overcome the image of Taylor, to dig his music in depth.

And this is where comes into play "Red", a very homogeneous album, but of excellent quality: a mixture of genres and new experiences that welcomes with joy. Because it changes a little, even if we appreciate what Taylor was doing before. And the world is more likely to respond favorably.

- The tracks that mark the change: openness, "State of Grace" at will rock tells us right off the color (no pun intended): Taylor wanted to do something completely different. "I Knew You Were Trouble" is probably the biggest step of Taylor to the world of pop music mainstream, with the lead single "We are never getting back together"; resolutely pop and catchy sounds, dubstep and even (contrary to what one might think, it is worth it). "Holy Ground" joins the genre of "State of Grace". "22" made me think of Avril Lavigne, and honestly, I say, why not.
- The tracks country in which one finds Taylor, but with a slight start, in texts and melody: "Red" - "Treacherous" - "All Too Well" - "I Almost Do" - "Stay Stay Stay" - " Sad Beautiful Tragic "-" The Lucky One "-" Starlight "-" Begin Again "-" The Moment I Knew "-" Come Backbe Here "and" Girl at Home ".
- The songs to avoid, in my opinion, are the duets, I find a little flat, and three acoustic versions, for the same reason.

Special mention for "I Knew You Were Trouble", "Red", "Starlight" (my favorite), "Come Backbe Here" and "Holy Ground". Red is a quality album, to have no restraint at the time of purchase.
