I read the first four books of the saga and this fourth installment is certainly the darkest and least technical of the four. No gigantic interstellar battles (Weber really knows describe a warrior and disproportionate universe) and the author stops more about the feelings of the heroine. However, it seems more comfortable in epic battles in the description of moods and feelings. The set is somewhat agreed and predictable. The Honor the love story finally makes human (whatever) and "twists" related to the hatred dedicated his sworn enemy is no surprise (I do not voluntarily reveal the story). A more intimate component, more personal, with descriptions of force a very Manichean universe and endearing or repulsive characters on a background of political shenanigans. A successful result although less epic than the previous ones.
