Personally, I find myself there again and again torn: My digital SLR is high (of the results and in particular of its recording speed) still unmatched - apart from the fact there are plenty of circumstances where you hold these for just too clunky and therefore is for walks, trips, etc. the demand for what little loud. So far in the use of compact cameras, the most important point for me was the speed of the camera, because you can also make the necessary snapshots only by a quick response. Thus, it has turned out rather quickly that the usual zoom, megapixel technology and madness plays a minor role. Megapixels are important if I have huge enlargements before and at lower zoom you go just once to get closer or trying on an alternative composition. But now we turn finally the TG 830 and try to get out as they deal with this dilemma: As absolutely positive this point but slightly more expensive compact camera is the outdoor ability that will surely find a lot of friends. How can you even take pictures in this price range under water (of course, although only 10 meters - but enough for the beach visit the), perform a GPS-tracking and even drops of up to 2.10 meters dare?
