I a-do-re ... !!! A magnificent novel of Georgia Caldera !! Cornelia is a girl that life has not spared: she lost her mother very young, so she lives alone with his father who lives for his work, neglecting his daughter so that she feels despised by him ; Then she loses her only friend in a tragic accident. After an altercation with students from his college, she decided to end and flows of a bridge. Rescued by a passerby, she comes out and wakes up in the hospital with strange and deep wounds that have nothing with the circumstances of his suicide. His father, upset, is at his head and seems to have finally opened my eyes to the distress of her daughter. He decides to go in a province in the family home to help her daughter recover. She meets the handsome, mysterious and temperamental "Henri", lives in an old castle-like "Gothic" perched on the hill facing the house of Cornelia and is feared by the entire village. The character may sound cliche or classic but believe me, it's a very rich character scares, surprises and moves from one chapter! Cornelia has changed since his suicide: she hears frightening voices in his head and soon the very real horror haunt the visions and even mutilate her body ... Is it going to come crazy ?? Above our heads we feel that danger plane, but which one? ... The author takes us brilliantly into a mysterious world, gothic, scary and exciting distilling love, blood, past, attraction, horror, grief ... I really loved this story !! There is much originality in the way the author has treated a subject very discussed in current novels riding the wave of vampires. Stop the vampire "vegetarian"! Stop the blood scenes or censored horror! I liked these scenes, sometimes at the limit of sustainability, sometimes on the edge of tears. I liked these characters tortured by their present, their past, the weight of their conscience or guilt but still the hope of redemption, a shared love and promise of better days ... Finally, a big congratulations to the author for this singular novel, romantic, dark and bewitching. I await with great impatience Volume 2!
