The beginning reminds me of the great three ??? Episode 96 "... and the Red Avenger", because there began the follow-on with a caller who has a very high falsetto and sometimes slips into women's clothes, like said Dave Rawling (great: Helmut Gentsch) sequence of 96, only he threatened Justus and Aunt Mathilda.
For here is a gangster at the factory, which is very well agree enormous, just say this here Mitch Palmer (great: Michael Lott), but also adjust the voice and slips into women's clothes.
His threat applies here Commissioner Reynolds (just great: Wolfgang Draeger), who is kidnapped.
The three ??? wanted her father's friend and ex-Commissioner help from previous episodes and free him.
A race against time begins.
Exciting was also the place where Bob disappears in the desert and the three ??? had to look for him.
The music is very mixed, there come pieces of J.-P.- Morgenstern, J.-F.- Conrad (even has a new piece composed for the episode), Constantin Stahlberg and Betty George.
Especially great here is Manou Lubowski (times not as dumplings ;-), but in a rather unusual role as Dimitri.
Even the brilliant veteran, Henry King (* 1936) convinces as Boss very.
Time a very different contrast than the role of Hermann acidulous.
That new piece of music by Jan Friedrich Conrad called Living On Third Street: Music: Jan-Friedrich Conrad, singing: Shirin Kazemi.
One more feature has this result, because it is 80-minute far the longest of long-lived great series and thus has the consequence of 79 detached "The Curse of the Voodoo" that so had about 75 minutes running time.
Even that Cover is beautifully managed - Silvia Christoph is a very good successor, who unfortunately died in 2009 Aiga Rasch, whose style she copied wonderful because just could Aiga Rasch today their cover for three ??? make if they were still alive.
Conclusion; A very good result with a bye from Wolfgang Draeger as Commissioner Reynolds, who is kidnapped here. Great speakers, especially Michael Lott, Wolfgang Draeger, Henry King and Manou Lubowski and of course not forgetting, Oliver Rohrbeck, Jens Wawrczeck and Andreas Fröhlich convince you, here in every respect.
The music is a mix of newer and older (which I prefer) tracks.
A sequence which is well worth repeated listening.
