(Commentary written while the product was in the promotional price of 74.90)
The most important thing for a backpack is comfort in the long term. The weight should be evenly distributed, the straps do not hurt and important things (water, cream, hat, glasses) must be on hand to not be tempted to neglect them.
All these aspects have been taken into account for making this beautiful backpack (I received it in blue, the color is beautiful!).
* Weight: feather, 1 kilo on the scales
* The settings are well suited. The straps are adjustable with good amplitude and should adapt to all formats (child of one meter 63, size 34 on the first photo). After coarse adjustable then just pull the tabs, so stewardess, to perfectly adjust the straps. The lap strap wedge well in the pelvis, under the belly, and distributes the weight well (very wide strap, should suit all formats). The horizontal retention flange is not only adjustable in width but also in height: it can be slid up and down on an amplitude of 12 cm, allowing it to be positioned anywhere between armpit - either au below the chest - and a low position - under the breast (see photo). For men this is a detail, but the ladies will appreciate not having their breasts squashed!
Warning: if you have very sensitive skin, the straps may irritate your skin in upper shoulders if you do not wear a garment covering (then prefer the non neckline T-Shirt tank top in)
* The toilée frame that doubled the back of the bag: a great PLUS. this device keeps the bag off the back (see profile photo) and avoid both the heating, allowing excellent ventilation, and discomfort of bumps on the back - so you can put what you want in bag, stored as desired without considering this aspect.
* The storage units and fixtures:
- Outside:
=> A top handle for gripping the bag
=> Just below the handle a marked decline in H2O fabric port allows passage of watering hose
=> On 4 wide elastic straps (to affix or drag something) and a solid ring on each side at the top of the chest to attach to any object with a large clip.
=> On each side of the bag: an elasticated pocket easy to reach (water bottles, sunscreen, hat, telephone, kleenex, etc)
=> On each side of the bag a set of two straps to attach long objects of moderate size (small rolled sleeping bag, mat, towel, etc.)
=> On the outside of the bag: two strong elastic loop (diameter about 6 cm) with object clamp bitogneau rolled small diameter (clothing, towel)
- Within the large zippered front pocket side: it opens and folds well (once déclipsés the two fasteners of the side straps top) and reveals (see 4th picture from the top of the page product):
=> On the front two patch pockets breathable perforated material
=> A zippered pocket (about 15 cm by 20 cm)
=> Simple pocket behind the previous (not visible in the photo because plated)
=> An attachment with clips (for hanging keys)
- Inside the bag (which opens up about two-thirds of its height):
=> A very large patch pocket elasticated back side to the water supply
=> An empty space in modest volume (capacity 38 liters)
- At the bottom of the bag, below:
=> A small storage pouch for rain cover (see picture; the cover is bright orange). This fully elasticated cover is placed in a wink and water repellent fabric is 100% waterproof (see photo) and "dry" in a moment (in fact it does not get wet, drops slip and fall over, simply shake). Moreover, its colors, neon orange, gives it another role, that of see afford to be more visible when strolling in town, or mashed weight time (skiing for example).
In short: a great bag, very comfortable, very light, suitable for many situations, which will be equally suitable for days when you want to have everything at hand (hiking, skiing, hiking, amusement park with young children ) than for sporting expeditions do with people knowing the vital minimum.
