After initial difficulties ...

The Soundbar is used with a Samsung UE60F6170 and a PS4. Since the TV only has two HDMI ports, which are occupied by the PS4 and the PC, I use the optical connection (what else?). The TV is not SmartTV, can accordingly produce no wireless connection to the soundbar.

As the TV for flat-panel televisions ratios provides a very good sound, I was a bit skeptical about whether the change would because Conjure a WOW effect or rather just a "Well". To be honest, the latter was the case. The sound was relatively dull, dark and bassy. The setting [Treble: +3, Bass: -3] did not provide the sound that I had hoped for in my ears. Also the sound was very localized to the soundbar. Before the sound came from behind the TV, now from underneath. As the PS4 should show times, which sound as coming from her, I was a little surprised. The bass was powerful but not "vermatscht" over. For me it was clear, just like on the radio, the TV channels broadcast just too shallow sound, which lacks dynamics. When I once went through the settings of the TV and the (previously unused and therefore never noticed) discovered additional settings in the Sound menu and times the audio format of PCM to Dolby Digital or DTS Neo 2: 5 provided that dynamic increase was the Sounds enormous. Just the normal television sound, the difference was serious. Powerful bass and the treble (of course not as high as with the internal TV speakers ;-)) are now much clearer over. Despite the non-3D sound setting on the Soundbar has the sound been a certain spatial distribution (even with a room size of approximately 45 m²). But no light without shadow: From time to time there is a small dropouts in sound. This occurs mainly when the PS4 sets the tone. I can this not directly attributed to the soundbar, which is why I also depart no star here.

The other functions do what is required of them:
- The soundbar will automatically turn the TV on (has to be activated by five seconds the dimmer button presses).
- The Bluetooth connection I find also very good. If the connection has been made once and activating of its smartphone BT and selects the soundbar as known compound, then it will automatically switch to the BT mode. So you have to not only enable the mode and can connect only then.
- The 3D sound makes of course no real volume sound but you can possibly call "surface sound". This option had the TV also so already. It ensures that the sound is spatially spread out a bit and not with every note on the Soundbar looks instead to the TV. And indeed, seem to come from individual notes from the side. A nice effect.
- Should be particularly praised the sport setting. If you want the commentator in football have not in the foreground but rather the stadium atmosphere, to which this setting is just right. However, she has with non-sports tones manchal some problems and varies the dynamic part a little bit more (I say only advertising!).

As the sound is nevertheless quite bassy, ​​I recommend setting [Treble: +3, Bass: -3, SW: +3] with a seat pitch of about 3-4 meters. This is of course from their own taste, the physical dimensions and the surrounding "insulation" in the apartment dependent. Now if you compare the times the internal speaker is activated, you can only smile tired ... but you can also use the internal speakers and the sound bar, but then you need of course two remote controls to the set volume control, because this does not work in my case, unfortunately, the TV remote control alone.
