With "Sway", "Brown Sugar" and "Can not You Hear Me Knocking" the division blues rock is served, it is a pleasure. Crushing riffs, pumping bass and an energetic singer give rise, in what direction marched this album no doubt. Keith Richards uses the rhythm guitar so exemplary that determined for 10 years all guitarists in the world tried to establish such grooves.
The division "traditional Blues" is adequately served, "Sister Morphine" remains a model with fine instrumentation and song "You Gotta Move" is a successful cross between Anthem and Slow-Blues. And with "Dead Flowers", the division country rock is even served at a high level.
American and unspoilt, the Stones have never sounded. And timeless not.
