I summarize briefly me, as many reviews have already told most of the advantages and disadvantages of smartphones.
The first impression: superhot! Workmanship is very good, is noble over the good Z1. It creaks nothing, but I did not expect in double glazing.
Even apps run super, short anzocken graphics-intensive games makes the smartphone even nothing. Unfortunately, only the brief, for that I'll be right there.
Delivery: Not really exhilarating. Headphones are ok, otherwise is not much to pick from the packaging.
Performance: This thing is fast! Well, with a quad-core 2.2 GHz which is not surprising, but in terms of speed is the thing hard to beat.
And all the more waterproof and dustproof, very cool!
Sounds all good, why did not I keep it ?!
There are in the whole euphoria only a brakeman and unfortunately unforgivable:
Once you play a little longer (with me have 10-15 minutes of Candy Crush enough), the smart phone is very hot. Alone would that not so bad, but this heat affect in any manner the touch screen, so that it starts to spin until the smartphone has cooled down (incorrect or no response to touch, write, and "wipe" is impossible !).
I can not say, but I'm not the only'm this shortcoming and that is for a high-end smartphone simply unacceptable Why this effect occurs.
Who enters in to YouTube times "Xperia Z1 touch screen problem", see what I mean. Clearly visible it is, if you make the internal touch screen test after having longer played / used the phone a little more intense.
On a software problem it does not seem to lie. Also Sony are in response only (formulated free): ". When the smartphone is too hot, it may well lead to problems" We must leave it a little "rest" then stop. After 15 minutes, Candy Crush ?! Sorry, but that is expected with such a smartphone does not happen, especially because you can buy such a device to a little there "burden" want to / can.
The phenomenon occurred the way also outside in the sun on. 2 minutes of direct sunlight and the touch was no longer operable, very unfortunate Sony!
What remains for me to say in conclusion:
No buy recommendation. Was always very impressed by the Xperia models, however, that the touch at increasing temperature (and remains not even in light gaming / video broadcasting from) spins, is unacceptable and definitely a bad design. I have so even when no other smartphone seen.
And because the touch screen is the main component of a nunmal Smatphones, unfortunately not even a "unsatisfactory" for this.
A bonus star there for processing.
PS: the Internet was also rumored that there had to ground faults, if you did not touch the aluminum frame (which would not be acceptable in such a smartphone). However, I have tried everything possible, it is definitely on the longer use of the equipment and possibly the resulting heat, since no use, the problem also occurs with solar heating.
