Bioshock Infinite does everything right, even if it has been felt after playing through a couple of small (non-dramatic) defects.
Then let's start:
The setting: Columbia, a city above the clouds. Every house, every platform is supported by huge balloon that keeps them in the air. On every corner
These are people whom you listen to their conversations, a father as he carries his child on her back look or just a love of
Can admire detail. There is simply everywhere something to discover, which definitely contributes to a harmonious atmosphere.
Columbia is definitely unlike Repture, even if maybe a contrast. And no, not just because of the elevation changes xD
Rapture was gloomy lot, oppressive and dreary. At every turn there was sick Splycer, one was always alone and when, they had only
Contact psychopathic people with rabbit masks. ;)
Here it is different. Quirky types of course there are still, however, already loosens the setting or the constant contact to Elizabeth the atmosphere.
The Story: Really, wirlich exceptional. Bright Lights! What was on offer here is indescribable. For this I would currently still only
reluctant to say anything, because you should Infinite really enjoy completely spoiler free. Anyone who has played the first part, but is here
definitely encounter a different kind of narrative and storytelling.
The soundscape: the background music at Bioshock Infinite fits really excellent and binds fine in the game world with a. Even
qualitatively highest Niveou.
The characters: Oh yes, that are so skuril as every Bioshock. Whether mentally ill, fallen souls or power-hungry birds - Bioshock takes here
again a large portion of character depth. However, again on a slightly different level than the people in Rapture.
The atmosphere: In my opinion the most important thing in a Bioshock, the atmosphere must namely definitely agree. And it does! However
In direct comparison to the first part is limited. The atmosphere goes down all the action with something. Are these the rapid movements to the
Sky-Lines or slaughter on an airship. That there used to not quite so fast-paced action. In addition, Columbia is much more colorful
and "brave" designed. Also, there are large prints, with regard to the oppressed, hopeless mood.
However, everything is still in the frame, you have to change up. So a setting with such offered atmosphere - musically and with a truly
bombastic story underscored - will you still in any other game. I do not want to question, definitely top.
Gameplay: I want in any way to talk bad gameplay. The new Sky-Lines maintain a happy and provide a good amount of action, it
gives plasmid-like helpers and there are again some challenging opponents, I must say that all in one package, it also
on "heavy" slightly to the touch.
Only let's leave the Sky-Lines and the new plasmids etc. away and focus on the simple first-person shooter elements and physics.
If, for example. tapering diagonally left or -right on a wall, you will stop and move no more meters. In other games, I would
now (though slowed, but I would) walk slowly in either direction along the wall. However, is not a problem and it
also has no effect on meien rating. I just wanted to have said it. ;) What then but unfortunately bothers me a bit more and also the 1nen
Stern is suctioned away with the game, the new system for my weapons.
If I in the first two parts still a whole arsenal of weapons - which were occupied by the allsamt keys 1-9 - had, I can here only
Carry 2 weapons at me. A primary and a secondary. Between which I can go back and forth, they drop or against another, on
Soil is exchange.
That's too bad. Because crafting around my arms then makes namely basically no fun anymore. Thanks ammunition poverty, I am constantly on weapons
change and retain almost never a longer than 20-30 minutes. As my money that I earn over the entire storyline, one probably for Upgrading 1/5
sufficient whole weapons, that's so not calculable and I can not upgrade my favorite weapon with a clear conscience also. There is also
no optical changes / increases more after a weapon has been upgraded - a little pity.
But now is also once again well with the whining xD Bioshock Infinite is in fact a great game! It comes to my mind night unfortunately not quite to the Part 1 Ran,
Nevertheless, it is definitely a buy recommendation we should be in every gamer's shelf!
