This microSDHC I bought a GPS device (Garmin Oregon 450). So far everything has worked well so, and I have - see below - also tested the card in other devices same time short.
NEGATIVE:
So far, no negative impressions.
POSITIVE:
+ The hinged plastic packaging caused when opening no headaches and no Verletzugnen (goes without a knife or scissors), Wei just open and remove card! The package I use at the moment continues to keep the SD adapter!
+ No problems in the Digi-Cams (Canon IXUS 220HS / Nikon Coolpix S3300 / Sony NEX-5NKB system camera in the laptop (Packard Bell) and even in ancient card reader no problems.
+ The card is not hooked, not caught. Processing very good, although these are micro SD card even treat to handle with forceps.
+ Photographing / video: I have now only Class10 SDHC cards in use, so I can emotionally just so compare and since the uploading / downloading a full card takes similar. I've not stopped ...
+ Download / reading on the laptop and transferred to the hard drive. No Problem!
+ Price / performance ratio, I find great. Is where da (downward) sure do have a lot. (Addendum, Feb.15 - two years after I bought the 16GB version may then 15, now 10 euros.)
On the subject of UHS-I: Of course I'm not a professional, have these micro UHS-I card bought just times out of interest, together with a Transcend Extreme Speed Micro SDHC 16GB Class 10 memory card. If I as a layman would compare the two SD cards, I would see no Utnerschied. UHS is a new classification (UHS is: Ultra High Speed) and applies to the UHS bus system. Decisive for me was that these cards are also backwards compatible, which I have with searches at least found out ("All SD UHS-I memory cards can be used with all current SDXC and SDHC devices (backwards compatible)." Source: FAQ ' as on the Lexar com website)
CONCLUSION:
The Transcend microSDHC card works and is currently it is in Garmin Oregon 450 in use without problems. For this would have also been enough 8GB card, such as the Transcend Extreme Speed Micro SDHC 16GB Class 10 memory card; I bought way also, and in comparison with this the "UHS-I" is called, I know zero difference.
Of particular note: It is delivered in a transparent blister pack that can, if not other storage boxes are available, can verwenen for storing the adapter.
[FYI: The card is "Made in Taiwan".]
