Call of Duty: Ghosts Freefall Edition (100% uncut) - [Xbox 360] (Video Game)

Customer Review

I am longtime CoD players, and above all the games from the Infinity Ward-wrought in my opinion are great moments of the first person shooter genre. But the connection to the MW trilogy has unfortunately become a double-edged sword.

Campaign: I know a lot of players gamble only online, but in my opinion are missing them by a lot. The campaign of Modern Warfare 1-3 sets every Hollywood blockbuster in the shade and offers more breathtaking action as the assembled competition. Nuclear bombs, collapsing skyscrapers storm on the White House. For prostration knees! The story mode of Ghosts can happily connect to this virtual material battles when he will surely have hardly innovations. Sneaking, shoot, blow up. While it lacks characters from the impact of a Price or soap, but there is a nice family story, and the story has failed fortunately a little longer compared to MW. Optically really nice to look at, but the whole thing is of course no longer ran to Battlefield. What the heck, I like it still better than the campaigns of Dice shooter.

Multiplayer: Even if you love the campaign, you spend more time online but tend to, and unfortunately that was, unfortunately - in my opinion - wrong way smashed. MW 1-3 had a clear focus: Small teams, small maps, action in a confined space, in what is going on over and strategists and professionals can work out benefits without newbies are completely at a disadvantage. While it was Scrappy repeatedly that nothing does, but forgive me if I buy an AC / DC album, will also AC / DC hearing and no folk music.
Let's start with the positives: The editor has been successful in my opinion real. Change character, collect patches, challenges - everything fine. At first glance, perhaps a bit complicated, but it comes in fast. There are fewer weapons, but thanks to extras like single-shot / Salven- "essays" that's not the end. An intuitive control scheme have been kept and with a few added extras such as round-the-corner-gazing and slides (one knows from Black-Ops) expanded, with just the latter can be used quite effectively.
But what good is the best game mechanics, if the maps fail. (Unleash avalanche of logs, blast doors, topple trees, or rocket fire, which turns the map to a landscape of ruins) The manipulable environment points should cool ideas, even if they do not come close to the interactivity of Battlefield. BUT: The cards are too big, too tangled, and every point can be reached from three or four directions. In addition there is now even more levels, which was so touted big but too often mutates into a frustration factor. Strategic approach is history, now you're running either through the area and hopes that you collect a few kills before anyone as out of nowhere behind and a checkmate sets, or you start to camp, which unfortunately do so few. As you probably unfortunately too much squinting on the success of Black Ops. Also frightening many matches will be completed by the clock, because sometimes wanders half a minute without seeing another soul. And the dogs are a bad idea, was already mentioned by others. As well as helping itself beautiful scenarios like an old castle, an icy landscape or a jungle prison, including Baumfällerlager little.
I really wanted to like this game and have long tried to get in (to Lv. 53), but that's not my call of duty. Who wants to just run around and shoot, is well served here, who wants to feel like a game to dominate eventually, not usually. So Ghosts is unfortunately only end up in the console, next time I'm been playing the single player mode. Online It's probably with MW3 on until we find a worthy successor. What a pity, that.

All in all I would give 5 the campaign despite minimal defects full of 5 Flashbangs, the multiplayer does not get beyond 2 of 5 Juggernauts, makes 3.5 points, but are rounded up because of the brachial-brilliant solo player mode to 4 points , despite the disappointment of the multiplayer.
