Otherwise, I have again made here a summary of our impressions for you!
ERGONOMICS
The Moto E has the dimensions 130 x 67 x 12 mm and weighs 145g. When it takes the first time in the hand, it feels subjectively quite difficult to - where you quickly become accustomed.
The display has a size of 4.5 and has approximately 64% share of display (or screen-to-body ratio - for comparison, the iPhone 6 has about 66%). At the front of the phone has a loudspeaker,
Light sensor, front camera, on the back of the main camera and the Noice-canceling microphone. Further there a 3.5 mm jack for headphones. The slots for the (micro) SIM card and microSD hide under the frame (Motorola calls it accent tape) which is off without tools and can refit.
By ribbing both under and the curved back of the phone is comfortable to hold.
PROCESSING
It make a strong impression, there is virtually no play in the gap dimensions - everything closes nicely. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 (in the price range of a rarity) - in addition, there is a water-repellent coating (which I can not see any difference as to devices without coating).
The entire phone is made of matte plastic and does not feel particularly wertig according to - you can not just compare plastic with aluminum or glass. However, it should always
be aware that it is a 130 cell phone! One advantage the matte plastic surface but: fingerprints on the back can be seen as well as not.
SOUND
Compared with the former model there is only one speaker on the front. From the sound quality and volume can convince but - there should be no problems that you missed a call because you did not hear the phone. The voice quality is good. The only negative thing I have noticed is that the housing is touch sensitive - means in plain language: If your phone and playing around on the phone, for example, with your fingers, your interlocutor will hear strange noises. However, this should in principle not be a problem in everyday life.
DISPLAY
The display has 4.5 inches and a resolution of 960x540 pixels (about 245ppi). When I read the resolution for the first time, I could not imagine that it is sufficient to me. It is nowadays
formally killed Ausflösungen of the industry - from HDready, FullHD, 4K, 6K or 8K. Lo and behold, on a 4.5 960x540px display are perfectly adequate! One need not worry
to make sure everything is represented completely pixelated. Of course, differences between a UHD display and this can be seen here, but they fall just much lower than feared by me.
The brightness is sufficient, the black and white levels are super. The colors appear natural. Only problem is the strong viewing-angle dependence - if you plan looking sideways,
changing brightness and colors. A cool feature is also the inactivity Display: If you raise your smartphone high or pulls it out of his pocket time and timely messages automatically appear, without the need to press any button. This really is very pleasant and you get the function to estimate very quickly.
Camera
The (rear) camera has a resolution of 5MP and an aperture of f2.2. Neither flash nor optical image stabilizer are present. The camera is only suitable for snapshots - even
only under good lighting conditions. Once it dawns on something, it begins with violent noise. Also rotate videos (720p at 30fps), is not really fun.
One can imagine that the front camera even worse many times with 640x480px than the main camera - quite OK for video calling, otherwise unusable.
PERFORMANCE
For power a Snapdragon 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM provides. Sounds first not much, but enough to 95% fine. The (Android Lollipop) system runs smoothly,
Whether looking at the daily surfing or during Full HD movie. Also, most games run smoothly, but not all. The graphically best games from Android Market, the phone comes to its limits - it may jerk violently.
By default, you have 8GB internal storage space (4.5 GB effectively remain left), but you can still expand with a microSD to 32GB him.
BATTERY
With 2,390 mAh, the advantage of the phone really comes to the fore - the battery life. Of course, this is again dependent on the type of use. For me personally, the device holds by about 3 days.
But even if you play with it a lot, it creates loose one day. The battery is not replaceable, whereby one must say that the modern batteries extremely survive many charge cycles without great loss of capacity.
CONCLUSION
For a 130-class machine with the latest version of Android, which has only one real weakness: the camera (hence only 4 out of 5 stars). If you do not mind this point, there is a strong buy recommendation.
