The so often criticized and even detectable noise performance at higher ISO values I did not intentionally rated plus or minus. You can not scan 80 moving with high speed shutter speeds and long focal length motives at dusk at ISO times now. At least not with a compact camera, and even with an SLR with the same optical conditions. This only works on optics ever or just with ISO surcharge. Are major deductions from the KB film from ISO 400 also coarse analog. So when I shoot with the G10 in ISO 1600 and make posters leave, I may not be surprised about the lack of quality. Certainly, the SLR is opposite the bridge usually at an advantage,
only one should realistically assess the performance and not compare apples and oranges.
For me, the G10 belongs in any case clearly to the upper class. Those who want more or needs, must resort to the SLR and especially still forking out a small fortune for really good lenses. And then he must also drag ;-). I put the G10 in the bag, press once just quickly go -if's target from the AUTO mode and am extremely pleased with what happens.
With the manual options is besides that a lot more possible.
Whether it is now 14 MP are needed i will provide time then. With less you go in the G10 finally even. But high pixel counts are selling now time just as well as 4x 1000 watts in audio amplifiers.
I can the G10 anyway recommended as an all camera each, if it is more expensive and currently, as the entry-level SLR's in the discounters. But make really better photos?
