There are plenty of super albums that belong in every good CD collection. Partly because a lot of "street song" can be found on them, partly because they were trend-setting for a musical generation, or because they were simply well made, and produced solid. The latter Strongly Agree on "Buildung the perfect beast". With the small but crucial exception that in addition a true song-pearl reigning over all that is unparalleled. "The Boys of Summer" is and will be Don Henley's stroke of genius, with whom he has carved into the top 10 of the best rock songs of all time. The text is simply terrific and along with Don Henley's voice and the sound it gives me goosebumps today. "The Boys of Summer" is simply the anthem of the 80s. I think everyone today with-thirties can bring this song with an experience from his teenage time in connection. ... And if Don sings "I can tell you my love for you will silently be strong, After the boys of summer have gone.", Then everyone who was also unlucky in love, maybe a little melancholy smile, of days gone by remember. The other songs are solidly made and you can listen to it well. My absolute must for every record collection !!
