There are different versions, so you should very carefully look at the manufacturer's site, which model suits. I purchased the XPAND 3D Glasses ™ IR (X105 IR X1), so the infrared version of the Sony VPL-HW40 projector. The XPAND 3D is compared with the original Sony TDG-PJ1 glasses (hence match the XPAND 3D IR sure the other Sony projector with these glasses recommendation) much cheaper and easier to carry to. One can also use both glasses parallel. I have noticed no significant difference when watching 3D movies. The Sony delivers an excellent image and how I see it through the eyes (n). The eyes are protected on both sides against side light. Very important! Wobbly images or interruptions are not happened to me, even if you sit a little on the edge of the canvas, or even take a closer elsewhere. The glasses can easily be put in front of their own (normal) goggles, unless it is conspicuously large, and I do not mind even after long film program. Compared with the model TDG-PJ1 the XPAND 3D, however, seems a little less robust, when you open the clip. You could break a bow quickly. So some caution, it should clamp times! Commissioning is easy (very easy to understand English explanation) and recharging the batteries via an enclosed USB cable. A short manual is in English only, that you should understand. But the children learn so early today at school or ask someone. All in all I can recommend these glasses.
