The white jack this CTEK adapter is a 6.8mm jack Tamiya, as it is also used in model making. Such a male / female pair, there are (also here at Amazon or elsewhere) for small money to buy (~ 2 EUR). At the current lead of AirMan now comes a Tamiya plug, the leftover jack I crimpe to the rest of cable with the cigarette lighter plug of AirMan.
Thus, I have with the CTEK system plug a full board socket, small, mounted inconspicuously on motorcycle frame under the paneling, water-resistant and protected by 15 amps (see CTEK PSUs here at Amazon). As a "waste product" arises further an adapter with Tamiya connector on DIN board socket plug, so that I can, for example, give other motorcyclists that have a DIN-board socket, jumper (if "DIN-board sockets" power to the starter ever endure, haha), or even the Airman - as originally planned - can also connect to DIN-board outlets of other motorcycles. This is called, I believe, win-win situation by modifying a cable to the DIN makeshift, uh, excuse me, "board connectors". ;-)
For the price for waterproof board sockets and especially compared to the cost of laying a cable to the battery which is the better, faster and more elegant solution. Therefore, this CTEK adapter I like very much.
