Shortly after the usual start of the game with old familiar Sim family or newly created Sims a portal near the own dwelling and a time traveler appears appears. An accident, he assures and asks for help to repair the machine. The simple collection of batteries is done quickly and the traveler extremely grateful he leaves but a time travel guide, which explains the use of the portal, together with various settings.
Whether one then also plunges into the future or maybe only still lingers in the present in order to indulge in his current life, is responsible for this completely stress-free the player. Much of what is done and done in the present, can be found in quite consequences in the future, but also vice versa, actions will in future village also have consequences in the current game play.
The nice thing is that you can always travel back and forth and thereby allowed to dwell for any length at a time.
From curiosity driven, you will surely quickly arrive in Oasis Landing and there received from the still grateful Time Traveler and bestowed upon arrival with a jetpack. This is to wonderfully quickly and unerringly to reach all locations, but wants this as much else the technology of the future to be learned only in safe handling. Thus, the first landings make all quite ugly, because the Sim stuck upside down at the landing in the ground and has to be pulled out with difficulty.

These are robotic fellows, which can be programmed on all my extra-chips to be acquired, what the Sim incident. So character traits, abilities, likes, dislikes, etc. for single-person households such as the ideal metallic House Butler / life companion / buddy / therapist / cook / minders :).
There is so much more in this Sim future to discover, but this would probably give too much away. In short, this add-on may be every Sim fan harmless recommended almost equal to a purchase order. All normal Sim enthusiasts could by this extension might find their way back into the Sim universe until finally The Sims 4 comes out.
