I was faced with the question of my "old" Monitor 22in by 24in a replacement device.
My old model was the "Samsung Syncmaster T220" with an aspect ratio of 16:10 .... so really a big screen ...

I dealt with the subject and realized pretty quickly .... oh my god, a "fast" decision support is probably not exist when it comes to monitors.
There are countless producers, techniques, panels, sizes, and and and .... so what to buy ... and back to the real question is-worth switching to a newer model ??

Yes, I'm excited .... I did not expect that so clearly see the differences respectively.The Samsung had a resolution of 1680x1050.
The Asus is powered by 1920x1080 (Full HD) -the one sees-all shown really clear and sharp.
In games like BF3 or Torchlight2 you really usw.erlebt again a "WOW" effect .... worth even once build a new character: -)) (better you will be but-not you see better when you die :-))
Let me come to the following conclusion:
The initial skepticism whether a change was ever worth after the Asus Switch gone .... I would say YES !!!!!
When one considers the T220 for example is still super good, which should be really short to deal with the issue .... it will probably be just as I succumbed to newer devices :-)
Also worth mentioning is the really low power consumption, ultra-compact design of the Asus Monitores and all interfaces that are needed (VGA / DVI / HDMI) are available.The viewing angle stability is really excellent ... but anyway front seats computer hence was only alone this is not a "Prio1" point in my selection.
The monitor stands firmly on his feet-nothing wobbles and swings - only the menu is -as always- actually a horror and favored outburst followed verknabberter Unterlippe.Aber once adjusted is indeed good :-)
From me there full 5 stars for a good, almost perfect monitor in the price segment up to 200 can take it all with my good T220 .... so what I say-he overtook a superiority in speed .....
