This camera is my first digital camera with mirror. I was not entirely happy with the results of my digital photo dwarfs. Flagships of the digital photography industry, I know from my father's collection. However, I did not want to have in addition to a 2.5 year old child, a 3 kilogram haul camera ... Nevertheless, I wanted this extremely good photos ... Especially because this just mentioned child.
Now good advice was expensive ... Bring on forums, test reports and set sail gen system camera. That had to be my solution yet. Sony Nex7 ... nice ... NEX5N ... Also nice and priced certainly better to argue ...
The more I now had to read to put myself in a reasonably capable of making decisions state, the more I gained impression that the NEX7 should resign. The NEX5N has a touch display ... Sounds interesting. Should I then be able to move my wife to take pictures with a camera other than the Apfelphon? Prima idea ...
While I have therefore drawn the circle around the 5N, I noticed here on Amazon, the EOS 650D. Here fit some of my preambles apparently quite good. The Canon Lens collection of my father in mind, I saw several legitimate reasons to take up this camera. I certainly no "professional" am, I was offered reassurance from the immersion programs Eiger. One can try even once ... I thought.
What can I say? Class camera, sensational photos, good management system ... short but sufficient explanations for beginners with ambitions (to whatever). Everything is there, what you need. The camera takes really want more ... And even that they can. When the child is awake most out of the automatic programs and into the part programs or manual then with courage in the full manual programs ... 3oo ooo photograph flowers in the garden, the vintage and in front of the garage ... and photos on the moving object ,
In short ... The camera is and I am satisfied. The recordings surpass my expectations. I've have to edit a photo on your PC ... What do I want more?
Those who want to spend a little money, I recommend a single focal length lens 50 of Canon, the kit lens is also great ... Nothing me but the Canon EF 28-135mm IS does not let go. It makes everything just plain fun and I bereuhe to be not taken this step earlier. Oh ... before questions come ... The size seems to me no longer as important in the final analysis. The NEX7 is not much more compact with lens. Incidentally, I have a few trained professional photographers in my circle of friends that I have not asked for advice when it came to buying ... However, I faced with the photos. They were all extremely excited ... Or only nice to me ... No, I do not think :-))
Oh, one more ... love novice, no thought being able to look at the cute little screen when you fast everyday photo. The screen is good if you like to make a tripod photo of still objects such as ... Otherwise too slow. Of that I was not initially considered and first knurrig. After that I tried the viewfinder and now I'm addicted ... I love to be beginners ... I can no ifs and buts pleased ... sensational photos in this case ... And week without 3- course :-) or 2 years of training ... I did not even googled) The Value for money is supported unanimously for my taste.

One thing I would add my vote: The more you play with the camera, the more gimmicks you find that (at least me) a fascinate.
The touch screen has a few more features, on the one hand facilitate the rapid use in the menus and offer on the other side really funny (and useful) additional functions for the actual photograph as Focus- placement etc. As I said ... that thing has upwardly a lot to offer and the available lenses (I once lent me a few with red ring of my father) drive a -before the screen sitzend- a smile on your face ... Said I already "what more could you want"? :-)

There are only a few, or at least a few months passed since the DSLR Photography has captivated me. Now I will have to come out there as possible, as that the EOS 650D is true for me in person as a gateway drug. One can now see well or not (oh my god .. you never ask my wife after).
Deliberately I do not change my previous words of this review. In the meantime, I have to say the following. The 650D is still a camera which I really appreciate. It is in my opinion still a very good "beginner's camera," which sometimes takes a by the hand and also off facilitates the leap into dedizierteren menus printed descriptions. You can at this point quite (at least temporarily) leave ends, to establish more objective and well be quite happy rightfully his way with this body. If you want to enter permanently low, the question of "the right camera" in a separate forum is to discuss ... but "the answer" may not be found there as well.
An objective recommendation I would no longer or only a limited say today, because there can never be an all-inclusive advice here. The kit lens has me but can only inspire initially personally. I myself would and (if necessary) set today Body lens separately. If one dives again into the depths of photographic possibilities, then a well-capture the theme of post photos inevitably ... I want to end my review with this and the rest maybe someday a novel entitled "My dive in pixels - Kosmos (or so) "to submit. My Consensus: Too bad that I did not start sooner.
