Here is what has guided my choice and that this japprécie UE40HU6900:
- Brand: Samsung and Sony are for me the two best marks in picture quality / reliability. Samsung Sony ahead for some time about the features and multimedia side / connected
- HDMI 2.0 formats to read 4K 60Hz. Eventually multiple HDMI 2.0 inputs work as I plug my PC 3840x2160 60p x (GTX 960 graphics card GV-N960IXOC-2GD).
- HDCP 2.2 (latest version of copy protection). Today little is compatible TVs then quindispensable!
- Playing with 4K video decoding HEVC / H265. One can find different samples 4K video to download. USB key, it works perfectly, this is sublime, this is fluid! Dailleurs 1 port is USB 3.0.
- Possible evolution of the connector housing by the acquisition of a "One Connect" to adapt to future 4K or other broadcast standards (we'll talk about in a few years)
- Dual tuner. CAUTION this does not seem to be the case or on any 40HU6900. My copy has a dual tuner allows to record programs on the hard drive formatted after washing (not recommended USB key). By cons, and the recorded files can not be played on PC or on my other TV 55HU7500 !!!
- Smart TV. It is a discovery for me connected TV! It thus connects the TV via Ethernet or WiFi. And here there is access to different applications: YouTube, Vevo, Tweeter, a web browser, games installed, video channels on demand, programs replayDu in fact no interest to have a "Box TV".
- 2nd remote as my 55Hu7500. Very practical with its pointer (much like a Wii controller). There are the essential keys including that of the micro: we support> talking> TV and found this on Youtube quon want or else! As against the "soap" format slides a little!
- Headset connection via Bluetooth. It is also possible wireless speakers in the same way.
- Screen "Multi-Link". You can watch a screen to the left of the program and go on the internet right. Or view two TV programs and define one of the two with Laudio to a headset.
- Very nice quality of images. With 1080p sources such as Freeview HD or movies, the images are beautiful and perhaps even improved compared with a 1080p screen. In the absence of programs or films in 4K, you can already take the opportunity to show his photos in 8 megapixels (against 2M for a TV or PC screen FullHD screen), this is sublime! I think also invest in a smartphone filming in 4K therefore also benefit.
- Ideal for a PC. For me the greatest interest of 4K is on a computer. Currently I'm testing this 40HU6900 on my PC and it'll be difficult to go back on a 1080p display! On Windows7 screensavers jOperation a half for example on the internet and it therefore much more information than before maffiche (equivalent of 2 1080p display on the other lun). And right I can work on Word or other software and also benefit from more pixels. For 3D modeling software, processing dimage or video, view photos or simply this is a breakthrough. I regret that he is no longer ny 4K monitor on the market. Many Nont not lHDMI 2.0 and are sometimes more expensive than TV! And next screen size in 4K, a 32pouces monitor is in my opinion the minimum because the pixels are very small.
The main differences with my 55HU7500
- No 3D function. But so much the better, it lowers the price! 3D lai I even tried on my 55hu7500.
- 200Hz CMR against 1000Hz. Honestly I do not see too many differences. But what about a bit beyond me. RMC is a combination of tile frequency of images interpolated, backlit dimages In reality, even we do not know which is activated by setting "Motion Plus" (specific> Normal> fluid).
- The thickness of the screen is larger on the 40Hu6900 (65mm against 35mm), but this allows to have a bit of thickness for 2 speakers facing down (against 2 1 Subwoofer headed for washing 55HU7500). The sound is pretty good for a dailleurs LED TV.
- The image is a little less bright on the 40HU6900. It is therefore difficult dactiver Eco modes beyond "low".
Some complaints:
- Consumption: 79W Eco with low mode, jespérais less. FYI my 55HU7500 is 91W for the same settings, this is a bit too high compared to other models or brands.
- Slab a little too bright. I do not understand why dailleurs all TVs not Nont matt tiles and / or effective antireflective?!?
There. Waiting for the next wave of 2015 TV, so I recommend this UE40HU6900.
