I have this external HDD acquired principally for the purpose of being able to save regular backups of my laptop reliable.
I also wanted to rid my system disk of films, which is why the HDD should be portable, however.
The USB 3.0 standard should also be there, as larger files are thus actually moving much faster - alone while backup of my laptop I notice a significant speed increase, compared with the backups, which I still with my old external 3.5 "HDD ( have also carried out by Western Digital).

Overall I am very satisfied with the product, as it will do the demands placed on it quiet and reliable.
I hope continued enjoyment of this external HDD have been able to.
