Finally enjoy new television acoustically

Connect:
The handling is super easy. On one side are the two digital inputs (optical / Toslink and electrical / Coax). On the opposite side is the analog output via RCA connector. On the third page of the AC adapter is connected and also set using the slider, if the optical or coaxial connector is used. A red LED that lights up when the power supply is plugged in is located at the top. That's all.

Operation:
The small size of the converter disappears invisibly behind the stereo. We have a digital cable service from cable Germany with us. In a TV CI + module including smart card KD is used. The sound is reproduced in my TV at the same time via the integrated speakers of the TV and the digital output, I reduce the sound on the TV to zero. The sound through the stereo system is wonderful - both analogue and digital channels. There is no noise or even an offset. I could tell even with the HD channels no noise, of which another reviewer has reported to me. With cheaper converters also often reported by a hum, as soon there is no input signal. Even that is not the case here.

Power consumption / heat generation:
About the power consumption I could not find anything. Therefore, I have measured it himself. The Lindy converter draws about 0.8 watts. This consumption is relatively constant and has been measured during the active use of the converter. If the TV is off and there is no input signal, the consumption when Lindy converter almost unchanged (between. 0.6 and 0.8 watts) will remain. The unit has no on / off switch and pulls therefore permanent power once the power cord is plugged. I connected him as the TV and stereo system to a switchable power strip. A heat build I could not find in operation.
