This time short, I recommend newcomers also due here inexplicably posted "Panned" urgently beforehand times to listen to the album, there are possibilities nowadays it enough here. It's just been a very special genre, the wave: globe represents in a leading way. For those who wave: globe know for some time and love - for you!
After film, cover albums and EPs finally a full bepacktes album full of new pieces that all fit under the concept of "dance music for robots". Again with cover songs such as "We are the Robots" by Kraftwerk, the pioneers of electronic art and certainly one of the role models for wave: globe, on the other hand "Thoughts are free", what may seem philosophically interesting in the robot concept. Most of the songs are fast to hard ("Give me my future again" and "computer sex" call back live hammer and barrel ...) and always danceable, from schlageresk ("heartbeat alarm") on NDW to 50's style. It copies itself and itself, "Man vs. Machine" is reminiscent of "The Souvenir" from the album Chaos Total, "I am made of plastic" was remixed by new (or old) sound machines. Whatever the main sound is the sound technology employed, especially ahead of the C64, which is again paid homage to several songs (in the language of the band, um, the Radio Centre C64 is a full member). Also various Engineering Gimicks bygone eras are again awarded a song, the Senso game in its design, the CD was held, or the classic pinball. Out tip are: Mimicry, The Pinball King. The new singer Lady Purple has to vocally with me to prove in the future and be better, but wave: globe has never been famous for highly trained voices (yes, I mean you all!), But what connected to the music the majority of Welle: Erdball accounts. And yes, I grieve Miss. Plastique afterwards, was a strong point, difficult to catch up or be beaten.
Conclusion: 5 stars if I were robot, I would dance! Let's see what the result is at the concert ...
ps "Love the 3rd kind" takes me no (r) as the strong farewell song - incl. video -. of Miss Plastique ...
