fine Blackbox (for Android) with 7 seals

1. First of all thank you for the first review which has courage, but to use this everywhere touted as Apple toy part also via Android.
Only on the basis of this first review I have dared to take a test (previously downloaded from the Hama manual vorzuinformieren down to me)

4. The description also helps when you first start. Select Wireless Settings => Hama_Wi reader and then via hatetepe colon slash slash 10.10.1.1 (course in shorthand) without and immediately you can see 2 main choices: a) Wi-Reader and b) SETTINGS.

Oh for WiFi Power: here are at AMAZON under the Angabot an identical / similar device many comments on the alleged extremely poor transmission power of the box. I can not confirm this Hama box. This means that even if you away 5 meters from the tray and another 8 meters from the wireless router, everything works fine.

In summary, I can say that the pure data communication, the box is probably too expensive and too cumbersome. Because you can connect via adapter much easier NEN USB stick directly to the tablet.
For watching movies (large files), the box is quite suitable.
Because of the disastrous mE rudimentary manual and thus unnecessary alone allowing the end user, I prefer from 1 star. Because most of us are neither Apple / Android still network specialists.

Addendum 1:
After I had hours angetestet any SAMBA server and other tools frustran, came from a forum to point out that the APP "File Expert" as could connect (in the normal version without HD and without Pro). After installing "File Expert" you will find the top right, an icon with the telling name "not logged in". So since it => then "My Tools" (3rd tab) => then "Network Clients" => here "Windows / Samba share" => and "Find existing server". The once folded, then several times not (no idea) - after restarting 2xigem then appeared under Neueinrichten and looking for a third icon with "smb: //10.10.1.1". Because it and it actually appears as the first reviewer has described 4 folder. In the folder "mnt" clicked, you will find 2 folders. There on "sda1" clicked => Eureka! The HAMA box is mounted.
Sure, you can start almost all stored on flash drive or card files from there. But I somehow feel here the start lasts longer because (presumably) "File Expert" would first upload it fully into the local memory. Ie listen to MP3, this technique is probably no way comfortable. For videos I'll start to start well but easily directly via the default browser the Spartan "Wi-Reader" (see above).

Addendum 2:
After yesterday, the router device (wireless office) had worked out well, I wanted to use the part at home also. So start there and tried to access the Settings. Device stuck in continuously lit Power LED. Zig restart attempts. Depends. No setting possible. Diagnosis: my WLAN setting from the office prevented the setting start. The only way out: RESET hole with toothpicks. And lo and behold: Ruck Zuck was setting back possible. Downside: I had to make all my settings again (WPA2 key, master password, etc) - only in the configuration of the home wireless network I could not get ahead: my wireless router was not displayed (for the whole neighborhood ... ). Solution: My Fritzbox I had irgendwannmal set to channel 13 - HAMA this box but here can only 1-11! After I changed my Fritzbox on Kanal8, she was found by the Hamabox. Maybe this info helps one or the other.

Then I wanted to save my settings - a switch to is indeed provided. But if you as the menu expresses it, only cryptic characters come on the tray. Is not So (Android-conditioned).
Today I got the part then connected to my notebook WIN7-64 times directly with NEM patch cable. Works fine (no matter whether a standard or crossover patch cables takes) and the setting menu can be operated so much more comfortable than in the tray. And - now, you can also save the settings correctly. The thus generated "config.dat" lands without permission in the PC download folder. So if once again a reset is due to use => patch cable.
