for DVD:

The training DVD is not really a video DVD but a DVD-Rom with an integrated player which allows you to play on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. In advertising is promised that you can play the videos on iOS and Android. It is annoying that the user guide for iOS Although copying explains the instructions for Android, although initially mentioned, but was then but forgotten. Here I suspect a misprint. Fortunately there are Android users but lighter than the Apple tortured: The videos are in MP4 format on the DVD, so that you just have to copy only from the media folder on your Android device the video. There you can play with the jew. Player (eg. MX Player) then. A conversion or extra software is needed to do that. Only my PS3 was when playing bitchy: The aspect ratio did not fit and through the many files in one folder there by indexing the entire video snippets when playing repeatedly stuttering.
I particularly like that in the folding a chapter summary is available.

The course begins with an introduction on the history of Blender, a somewhat redundant lengthy chapter on how to download the program and install (I do not think you really for full 10min needs). After that, it will be really exciting: Mr. King explained in detail the workflow of Blender and what is behind the many features of the program. The pace is quite fast, but thanks to the Stop function you can pause at any time to the steps then reproduce itself in Blender. Once you're familiar with the program, it then goes to the actual work. King shows how austattet a space with objects, create your own objects, textured etc. etc .. I myself am with the course not yet completely. But it is likely that King Sebastian has put together a really successful small course here, at least as far as killing me, I know how Blender ticking where I can find what. Of course, one is after the course no expert, but you have enough basics, I think to myself to complete its gaps.
I personally would have liked more information about the new feature "Freestyle". To this end, there are on the market no reasonable reading. But you can not have everything.
Conclusion:
A good beginner's course, which I really enjoy. While there, especially when it comes to installing a few unnecessary lengths,
where time would have been better spent elsewhere, but the bottom line was worth a very helpful course of his money.
