Gaming Headset with very convincing surround

I was looking for headphones for practicing video games enjoying surround sound without the stress of setting up rear speakers. The Corsair Vengeance 1500 is considered by the specialized press as one of the references in the field, the other competing brand is highly rated, it's not a surprise, Logitech. After a month of use, I give my impressions.

Positives:
- A 7.1 surround restitution works. Skeptical at first, I must admit that this feature is not misused. We feel if the sound is ahead or behind. The effect is not as pronounced as if it has a true surround system with separate speakers, but for headphones, it's the job, but be warned, the sound is at the head. If in a game, a car explodes behind, it remains at the neck ...! The system is no miracle on the spatial depth;
- Sound quality, even for listening to music. Of course, it's not a headset audiophile vocation, but he is doing very well on the music "modern". His first quality is to not try to impress on adding low-as with Beats Audio. A ten-band equalizer supplied driver then allows each to set the tone against its preferences because in all cases, there is no musical truth about modern music;
- Product finishing, with real aluminum and a long cable with fabric sheathing. The buttons are pleasant to handle;
- Built-in USB sound card that avoids using the output jack of PC motherboards and rarely quality housings;
- Pleasant to wear helmets, but I retesterai this point in the summer, when warmer.

Areas for improvement:
- Obligation to install a dedicated driver to use the headset and adjust the surround. No doubt it take a deal with Microsoft to ensure that this is included in Windows directly. The driver is still very user-friendly;
- The benefit of his neighbors of the helmet. I would have thought that such a helmet further isolate the sound;
