To take a picture as "Always top" lens, I find it fulfilled his duties well. Sure it could have a higher resolution, but for a quick snapshot and the occasions for which I used, it is more than adequate. Have thus still a lot to get out on birthday parties.
The one missing star is for the Video feature: when you zoom the focal length will not be approached smoothly but rather "pumping", ie zooming takes place in spurts rather than what it is getting used to the viewer of the video. But when filming one should actually as little as possible zooming ;-)
