1. Very important: The camera on the back should be protected, if you put the phone on the back.
2. Very important: You should be able to put the mobile on the side of the display without the display touches down on the pad. Nice for the speaker mode and acts in my opinion also fancier than as half-open shells. Well, not "fancy", but "less verschandelnd": D
3. Important: All around protected. This means that the keys are to be overlaid with rubber keys.
4. Important: thin to get noticed as little as possible. Because it should no crashes, but only to avoid scratches.
5. Important: Avoid limp, so you need have no fear that the shell does at some point independently.
6. Not quite as important: No disturbing rubber flaps that conceal any connections. Simply exposed terminals.
Those were my requirements. 5 of 6 were met. Unfortunately, the camera lens is a tiny bit higher than the shell. The result: completely useless for me. The rest could convince, but I still can not careless lie down somewhere (at the display, but that's silly to time, since the LED is not visible) the phone.
Positives:
- Very precise fit. I do not feel as if the envelope is not applied anywhere on the phone.
- Keys can press and slightly better sensing than without rubber sleeve (only advantage over the bare DHDs with metal housing) is very good.
- The cutouts for the camera, ports etc. sit very closely.
- Processing works well (unfortunately I have no comparison).
- Positively.
Negatives:
- Camera is not protected (determines a knock-out criterion for some).
- Is now fusselig: D
Neutral:
- Not quite as thin as I thought, but it falls within the ambit. Protects more unfortunately looks, even after from "more".
Conclusion: The most important criterion for me was not met :( On the picture it looked sadly out as if the display is protected by this arched rubber ... well, Pustekuchen 1mm more "bulge" could there works wonders order would.. I have given 6 out of 5 stars. Now's only 3 ...
Note: I'll try anything to stick a ring around the opening for the lens. So pimples stuff for socks etc. or just superglue or what I can think of.
Addendum: With a 16mm cutting die, a thick / multiple bonded, thin layer of black cardboard and a cutter knife gets out my a super spacer ring. Glued to the inside of the casing, the part is now almost perfect. At the shell but not (!) Glue holds really bombproof. But since you do not always rumfummelt off keeps's still sufficient.
