I think RE: Revelations 2 quite successful, it is a logical continuation of the first part, the people are a bit more interesting, especially if you the story of Barry and his family well off the first two RE parts knows (for example from the series of novels) ,
Graphics: 3/5 The graphics are in my opinion the biggest flaw of the game. There is really nothing that I expect on the PS4, but it is only solid PS3-level (so really just solid, even on the PS3 you could see the games "more" could). And in any way with the visual feast of FarCry4 or even The Order 1886 compare. Too bad, because would have been possible.
Sound: 4/5 The sound, however, is good without being outstanding, but what struck me very positively: The German Synchro is surprisingly good! And there is yet to enjoy the game in the original possibility. Better you can not solve it. Nevertheless, I would like a sound somewhat "richer" and also a little more present polyphonic music would have liked better.
Gameplay: 5/5 I find here everything is right. It has been almost entirely eliminated the pesky Quick-Time-Events (although I found solved the first part already better than in the main series), also is the control pleasantly modern (not like in RE4), without the horror aspect in favor of the shooter skills to drop (as in RE6).
Mood / atmosphere: 5/5 Finally, it is real fight horror again. That's what I loved most in the series (My favorite is and remains, despite the well as existing defects RE4). One is often surprised, so that one (at least in the first pass) never feels safe, but it is (at least at low difficulty) never a chance. Even the boss fights do not come to the frustration that you brought enough ammunition, it's just more difficult to fill these (ie better but before households ;-))
Replayability / Collectibles: 3/5 Here you have to make some compromises, like the other RE games are known for a run most of the action, and if you have a good Gedächnis, one no longer is of a zombie behind a door also really surprised. Yet here more than the usual medals are hidden, there is additionally wall drawings (Moira) and insect larvae (Natalja) to find.
The plot is divided only once in a bad / good ending. (Here is a possibly not entirely clear as it comes to the distinction, as I would have liked in the 'bad' end desired a little hint, but spoilers I do not want even that one finds when one does not find out themselves quickly in the expanses of iNets) - Just a note: the guy after good end look to the end ;-)
Raid / Online Mode: This addition is certainly as always a matter of taste. It is a pure Zombiemetzeln, but quite well done. Here applies a slightly different weapons modification model as in the main game and the characters also have other talent development opportunities. The mode is therefore strictly separated from the main game (except that you have to play through the chapters of the main game to get some cards in Raid mode). It is also in some places a bit much on Kaufartiken (micro transactions for 0.99 upwards), but so far I could not achieve everything I wanted to achieve completely free.
All in all a game that is worthwhile for anyone who RE: Revelations already found good, or, RE4 regarded as the best part of the series. For someone on the classic tank-like horror games like RE, RE2, RE3: Nemesis is the game is rather another disappointment.
Me, anyway, it has multi-pass and the RAID mode is now tied for longer than RE6 with all chapters and enhancements.
My wish for a RE7 would indeed that the gameplay of Revelations 2 will weitgehenst maintained and the whole thing with some puzzles and a really good (long) story is enhanced ... and please a more contemporary graphic ...
