First the positives:
Commissioning as opposed to similar products very easy and explained virtually by itself: pierce barrel, lifting in the cooling unit (highlight: a practical, fold-out handle on the barrel holder), turn it on and off you go. Visually they also like it very much.
Cleaning is easy: either simply be connected and through a barrel of water, or in the sink.
There are many parts, most importantly the required seals.
Negatives:
First and foremost: the cooling is unregulated and not manually adjustable, but simply runs permanently (~ 70 W). To display the next night showed 1 ° C and the beer was so cold that it ever flowed only with difficulty through the hose. On foam was of course out of the question there, and taste it had also suffered a lot. Currently, I manage myself with a timer, but yes can not be the intention. Alternatively, I could also my living room heating to 28 ° C, then perhaps passts; P
For the necessary pressure makes this machine a compressor, which is a substitute to the usual CO2 cartridges a good idea. Unfortunately, the hysteresis (measurement probably just over a pressure switch?) Is set so low that even with low pressure settings almost every minute "pumped in" is, but only for a maximum of one second. This creates a neat hand noise, and especially of course reduces the life of the pump. Here would be my opinion, the regulation clearly passive setting must. Currently, it seems as if it would not even be a switching ...
The lid closure, which is also responsible for the tightness of the pressure system consists of pure "plastic noses" and does not exclude smooth. Where cheap plastic does not interfere with the rest of the unit: at such an important point, I expect a metal closure even with cheap equipment.
Conclusion and Summary: For the money, what I paid (around 100 euros because B-Ware) reichts for 3 stars. The pity is that for little additional cost (cooling regulation, switching hysteresis) a properly rounded could have built it. The regular price of 200 euros, I would not pay in its current state, however.
