The pen, which was sent to me, but it could not be connected to a Mac or PC. Even with of offered on the site TING Installionssoftware the pin was not connected to the computer. From the FAQs of Ting site showed that such problems can occur and the support is help in solving.
In my mail request TING support has very quickly responded and a spare stylus with new firmware offered me, I've already received a day later. This new pen was finally able to a calculator, and Internet connection can be established (on Mac). (Even if the Installionsweg in my eyes is still in need of improvement, of modern software you are used to another.)
The pen works really well, the image codes very quickly recognizes has particularly with headphones of good quality and can be adapted well in the volume. The MP3 function, I personally find rather superfluous. That would not have needed the additional button "M" (for MP3 function) rather confused; especially because you get no detectable signal, the mode in which you now just is. The only solution here "trial and error".
The first pin I can return postage prepaid to easily TING. Really good service.
Conclusion: I would recommend the pen well, but has the same when connecting to the Internet make / Computer smears because the whole thing is a bit awkward to handle. (Thanks TING-pin I can do it but already to recognize chaffinches on vocals)

Supplement for Mac users: to connect after many unsuccessful attempts the pen via USB to the computer (iMac), I have found that it is better not to take the USB port on the keyboard. Then the pin is also recognized.
