First, the graphics:
The looks in my eyes all very nice, especially at night or in the rain it develops a lot of power. During the day it no longer sees, however good, unfortunately, but it is also. You can complain about in my view at most on the partial something strange display of damage to car; here's competitor GTA 5 on an older console better, even falls foresight overall not as impressive from.
Smaller (rather funny) Schnitzer also exist, so it rains in advance in an underground parking garage through the ceiling and also pure water from hydrants comes by car to me nothing you nothing through.
But that does not change a very solid overall impression, especially since the world was designed to every nook and cranny with attention to detail. If I had to forgive here star, it would be 4 out of 5
Sound:
Striking especially in the first few hours is the opposite GTA much better sound of cars and motorcycles. Designed Varied let some cars a high tubes or sound a rich bubbling. In addition, the tires screech and the elevated railway works implemented realistically. Somewhat weak, however come across shots and explosions, here I would have liked even more force. Still, I would describe the sound as a whole reacted very well.
A note on music: you will play on the cell phone of the protagonist Aiden, so pure music radio and no implementation. Like in principle, only the developers have foolishly neglected to let the user add their own music. This one gives away there a lot of potential and ultimately I turn the music now almost always off.
World:
The world seems to me a total of slightly larger than that of GTA 4, which is clearly too small, in my view for a NextGen Game. Size of GTA 5 (approx 12km and 6km height width) should have been presented here at least from my perspective.
In addition, you can tell at Ubisoft something inexperience with the traffic Engine. Although the physics does not act grossly illogical, but is used to in conjunction with the camera control. The range of roads varies substantially between one lane and two lanes and thus does not generate the big city air that Chicago should create safe. Again, it has rival Rockstar (unfortunately) already better fooled. These then are still far too few cars on the road, moving partially uncertain as novice drivers. For example, no NPC-controlled car will overtake a brazen cross-parked by me on the road car, but wait till you drop.
Positive contrast stands out the large amount of pedestrians, all of which are occupied by a little background and behave pleasantly logically in relation to the players.
Gameplay:
Complete success, especially hacking is great fun and motivated longer than you might at first might think. Anyway, I'm so far mainly drann on side quests and have the story (Act 1 of 5 finished) hardly noticed. In my view, a very good sign, since few games manage to motivate off the story to play. A few downsides, there are still. So the cover feature is indeed to run for cover consistently very good (I never go actually unwittingly in the middle of the line of fire "in coverage"), but you can leave the cover only quite cumbersome. Does not sound bad at first glance, but rapidly to the detriment, if the opponent takes the cover into the visor with fragmentation grenades.
If you like car rides, is also with this game not just overly happy here GTA feels much better and more differentiated, especially since the fleet of watchdogs is smaller and is not somehow implemented as creative. I would in any case more futuristic car of an easy lay-in the future, the city awaits.
Nevertheless, overall the game has a very round and motivating gameplay with great gameplay, which receives only small sacrificing details.
Story:
I have, as mentioned not much of seen much but one can already say for sure: A bombastic story ala GTA is Ubisoft not offer (as in Assassin's Creed Black Flag) (can). How solid is ultimately remains to be seen. In any case, the first missions of the pure execution ago have also made good mood.
Contents of the edition:
Are in a gelungenden wrapped box and do what I could already see a good impression. The art book is well done at first glance, the Steelbook anyway, but I find that Steel Books anyway always look better than the normal packaging. Ultimately, everyone must decide for themselves here, whether it / you is it worth the extra money, so I want to get rid of any rating.
Conclusion:
A gelungendes OpenWorld game with lots of interesting and fun approach, but also some Schächen that but detract from the overall impression a bit. Thus, it is all in all though a worthy competitor to GTA and its money well worth, come close to the model, however, one does not (especially if you consider that this was "only" for the older generation develops). For people with fun at OpenWorld (respectively action) games and the hacking issue and the current terms of our world, it is therefore in any case a recommendation.
