I must say that it is much harder than we thought. In principle, you have only the base plate and the screw-rod which acts also very solid. From my assessment ago it weighs 2'3 kg. Now I have screwed the Rode NT-1A including Spider and Pop-filters and have to say that it holds very well, although especially this microphone by its accessories has its center of gravity very far forward. Whatever the position, it flips no means of its own accord.
However, enough about a 10'20% absolutely thwarts its tapping tendency to bring everything to the case. Unless one is in a very unfavorable place has or an earthquake breaks out, so it should be stable. A slight nudge makes the stand anything out, especially not when it comes from the front.
Conclusion: For the price and the quality I give all 5 stars. It's perfect for my large diaphragm microphone and I hope that this will stand still long prove its me :)
