I use the mouse for a good quarter in a relatively heavy desk job. Thus the mouse is therefore normally 5 days a week for several hours each day in use. Also, I usually switch the mouse to use not from, so it does not go into standby. The batteries therefore still show no signs of fatigue, for ever thumbs up. Furthermore, very positive (if now often anyway Standard) I rate very small receiver, the peeping out only about 1 cm from the USB port. This is especially convenient if you're traveling times with the laptop and want the recipient does not pull out every time when packing and stow in mouse. Reach The is very good, that is a minimum of 5 m without problems (larger office is not ...),
The "stop" of the mouse buttons is indeed audible but relatively soft and pleasantly quiet, in contrast to several other radio and cabled models also well-known manufacturers that I've already used. Also very much like the very (!) Smooth-scroll wheel, which was here already often criticized. Can nudge by vigorous so you can easily scroll through an entire page in a document by itself. Only the sensitivity of the mouse wheel may have to be slightly adjusted down compared to other mice. The only disadvantage of this high sensitivity is that you might slip a bit when using the middle mouse button, but for the most part does not matter. It is very nice that the scroll wheel at the same time, two other buttons are integrated, which can be operated by gently tilting the scroll wheel left or right. This replaces the back and forth buttons on larger mice, which can be used when surfing the Internet for example. This tilting works amazingly well, without having to be, for example accidentally makes the middle mouse button click, or vice versa. Overall, therefore, the clicking and scrolling with the mouse is quite pleasant and well thought out, as I am well used to it so far from Logitech.
One must of course be clear that the mouse is a bit smaller than a normal wired mouse, but this seems quite reasonable given the provided mobile use. Nevertheless, it still is even after prolonged work well in your hand and you do not dislocate or cramp great fingers.
The only point deduction results from the fact that the supplied software for my taste too little can and too many system resources required. I have the software used for some time, because so may prove the key individually with other features as Windows offers by default. However, extended the time the system noticeably. Meanwhile, I use a freeware alternative that can do a bit more, and practically claimed no system performance. The software may have to walk if you want to use the same receiver other Logitech devices (such as wireless keyboard), so I have not had any experience. Otherwise, however, you can see the software safely banish from the startup.
Conclusion: For me it was previously a worthwhile purchase. The device does what it should and at a fair price. If the battery and keys life Auer now lasts even accordingly is not really something to complain about it. I would recommend the mouse for everyday, especially mobile, use.
Update: The mouse has been running for nearly 1 1/2 years in the above operation without battery change or any mechanical problems. This exceeds my wildest expectations.
Update: I just finished a AA battery with the mouse runs exchanged for the first time, according to the day 1 1/2 years. The only because the small light on top began to flash red. I do not know how long the mouse would still funktoiniert. Since otherwise no Ermüdunsgerscheinungen or similar problems arose for me a top product.
