The housing is completely but very high quality plastic.
Inserting the hard drive is very easy.
Open the case and close is "sliding mechanism" by the housing easily.
My impression is that nothing will break even after frequent opening and closing.
The exact fit distinguish this case, it wobbles with inserted hard drive anything.
