I was really happy when I discovered for myself recently BBS. I thought to myself, finally back, just go straight a band without Firlefanzen, earthy, strong, spicy, smelling of wood, great compositions, shaking off the cuff. Something like the music world has taken. And then I believed that now nothing can go wrong. And then came "Roses". Well, how shall I put it - because someone has time just vigorously drübergewischt with the Radio serviceability cleaning cloth? Almost all compositions seem somehow not bad, but also flat, rightly filed. Where is the fat Hammond gone? And where the rough edges? There are even provided after the second listening pieces that might emerge to favorites: "Let me help you", "Wish in one hand," or "Lay it all on me", and come live the safe Hammergut. But on CD? As written above: hopefully catch the back .....
