Ingenious mix of genres

Fantasy Life is probably one of the most anticipated games for the 3DS for me. I like (life) simulations and RPGs. My favorite games are currently Rune Factory 4 (unfortunately on the American 3DS, has never appeared in Europe), Harvest Moon (A New Beginning) and Bravely Default. Animal Crossing I was always nice, but it was for me too little long-term motivation. So I thought that the combination may sound promising at Fantasy Life. But it also keeps what it promises? Here are my first impressions:

+ Sweet Character Creation: Already Here we see the cute, attractive appearance, and it's fun to tinker his personal character!

+ Many "life" (professions) for selection: The selection of what you want to do is really big. You can choose (I hope I did not forget any profession) between Alchemist, fishermen, loggers, hunters, cooking, Mage, Paladin, smiths, tailors, carpenters, miners and mercenaries. This life can also change, since one needs different things and this can only be achieved through different life.

+ Mini Games: The production of things done in the form of mini-games, the better you are, the better is the product produced. A nice idea!

+ Different quest options: There are challenges (tasks that are rewarded with stars and allow a rise in elected life with new skills), flutter Lings jobs (tasks that are rewarded with joy and bonuses such as enabling a larger inventory) and other contracts (these orders are obtained by people in the game world that need help, and pay the one with the game currency and experience points guilders). This gives a wonderful job opportunity!

+ Large game world: I am still of course to be able to say, far from how big the game world is. But one thing is clear: There is much more on offer than in Animal Crossing! There are so many different things that you can do and discover. Should the way the main story played out and have reached the maximum level, so you can see the expansion pack "origin Island" (for 7.99 euros) Download, where one gets a new area with new quests and items, etc..

- Insufficient demanding: My main criticism is that, unfortunately, the game offers me too little real challenges. Sure there are a lot of tasks. This can be easily done but. The main story is rather shallow something who looks RPG-like depth here, will be disappointed. Certainly this has the advantage that the game is attractive even for small children. For adults it is too light in my eyes. The tasks could be happy sometimes a bit crisper be (as I sometimes am "too difficult" fail at Bravely Default, is here too shallow).

My conclusion: This game incorporates a really great idea to have a sugary appearance and a large, wonderful gaming world (which can be extended). Unfortunately, the game level is far too easy, which I think is very unfortunate. Nevertheless, a game in which there are many employment opportunities I forgive for four very good star.

Supplement: After four more, great and entertaining hours of play I give it full "score". The first angemangelte game depth but develops very nice and I'm just thrilled about!
