To the excellent and very sensible system filter to keep oil and you have nothing really write. That's just great!
Plus points for the previous FR7013 were:
+ Has around 600 W more power and can more quickly up and recovery!
+ Slightly longer cord, wound

+ Timer, unfortunately precisely adjusted only to the minute!
Referred to in the description of the FR8040 cord storage is pleasing to the production cutbacks victim - they are there simply is not! Otherwise, the devices differ in function and scope of precious little written out as before. Both the maximum height of the cooking oil is just ~ 4 cm above the cage floor. Except for the electrical system, the cleaning can be carried out completely in the dishwasher. The thin "sheet trumpet" is the same even when both devices. Those who still have the predecessor, for there is no reason to change!
Overall: Innovation Top, but the workmanship and the materials used are rather marginal - at least for my taste. A workable fryer for the rare private use. We might use 10 times a year and this is the device OK - precisely because of the oil filtering!
