The Herakles 5G is the most affordable high-performance mixer with program functions! (Depending on the color there is in some cases greater price differences)
He is the brother of the equally powerful Herakles 3G, but the program does not have functions for a knob.
The 5G is virtually a copy of the much more expensive V Omniblend and is priced only slightly undercut by the look-alike "Ultratec Professional 2.0 liter blender", while the "Ultratec powermixer" Heracles 3G balances.
From the looks of the devices appear to be identical. What somewhat irritates me is the different power ratings:
- Omniblend V: 3 PS (about 2200 watts), 38,000 U / min.
- Herakles 5G: 1500 Watt, 40,000 U / min.
- Ultratec professional mixer: 1500 Watt, 22,000 U / min.
When Omniblend V it says on the technical data: 3 PS, Working Power 950 Watt - apparently only half the force is there converted into power.
The manufacturer of Ultratec indicates in a comment on a review that the devices are produced exclusively for Amazon as a private label and that there is a stronger sister model (meaning probably the Omniblend V).
It would therefore be very interesting to see these three devices again in direct comparison, whether as the differences reported are actually available and the impact of this.
The Herakles 5G comes with JTC designation in the part number (JTC is the manufacturer of Omniblend). Some argue that it is a copy or forgery, but the function of the 5G reacts exactly like the Omniblend V (refer here to various YouTube videos comparison).
The 4 lateral knife with smooth blade of 5G are made as at Omniblend V and when Herakles 3G from a metal piece and see also from the same, including still sit two smaller downward knife.
Strange:
My Klarstein Herakles 5G, I bought about Klarstein, has not shown the circular cover, but a slightly firmer square, so that the housing shape varies somewhat (revised model?).
Nevertheless, the container can be changed between the 3G and 5G (probably are there also containers of Vitamix, Ultratec, Vivo Sana and other enclosed because the basic container shape and the coupling thread seem to be identical.
Even if the performance of 3G and 5G are identical, there is a significant difference, which is visible at first glance: The Herakles 3G has switches and knobs as the Vitamix and the first Omniblend while the 5G has membrane keys as the Omniblend V, with which different speed and time programs can be selected - the easiest way to mix!
Just turn it on with the power button, press the desired program and off you go.
Thus, for the 5G reproducible results, which is not so easy with a rotary knob. And since the knob when 3G anyway at an initial rate of approximately 10,000 U / min. operates the stepless regulation is more illusion than reality.
The question of whether you should buy a better 3G or 5G, depends solely on the question of whether you prefer to work with a knob or with program buttons. Problem-free and easy to use they are both ...
And due to the low price and highly recommended!
