I LIKE IT:
+ Coconut oil smoke during Seared much later than other vegetable and animal fats.
+ The fat is solid at normal room temperature and can be dosed with a spoon.
+ Coconut oil is also excellent for skin care: It leaves no film, makes the skin wonderfully soft and helps good for dry, irritated skin. (Although it is a bit strange at first, to apply cream with the same fat, where in the kitchen sizzles dinner, but the result is very compelling.)
MATTER OF TASTE:
o Coconut oil smells and tastes slightly of coconut - and that does not taste each and maybe not necessarily to any dish. The aroma is absolutely awesome for stir-fries, curries and some sweets, but for a breaded cutlet I personally would not use it now.
o price / performance ratio: The product of New World is relatively low, but also no Bio. I personally do not mind, but let everyone decide for themselves.
FIND Not so good:
- I personally would have preferred a glass container. And that's really the only thing on the product also bothers me only minimally. :)
CONCLUSION:
The coconut oil is inexpensive and I like the little coconut note. This makes the oil not to a general-purpose talent, but that's my beloved olive oil so ultimately not. If you like coconut oil with coconut note like or want to try it, the coconut oil from New World in my eyes is definitely a good deal.
