As the name suggests, you get everything you need for the fifth and sixth players. Cities, settlements and roads in two new colors, additional landscape fields, parts for frame extension and a few more development and resource cards. Also completely new number chips are included. Plus, there's a small rule change for the game to five or six. The introduction of the "extraordinary construction" makes especially later in the game that do not accumulate as many raw materials on a player's hand and therefore the danger of dropping of raw materials at a diced Seven is less. So each player can build and buy development cards after the active player has finished his train. More (action, play cards, etc.) is allowed but not! Overall a very reasonable novelty.
For Packaging:
The supplement comes in a narrow (half size in comparison with the cardboard of the base game) carton therefore without the use of figures, etc. Conveniently, therefore you simply put everything in the box of the base game to where although there is enough space, but necessary compromise on accommodation (see my review for the base game). The Beilegeblatt should keep, because there the content of the supplement is listed as well as the addition rule for five and six players. Whoever wants to sort out the development card from the match for a game with fewer than five people, the sheet needs then. But you do not sort out the cards, if you do not want. I personally just leave even the game three or four in the stack. Just as the additional resource cards.
