We have the machine just a little longer than half a year (end of January 2014 bought) and the heater fails. Can happen sometimes, we thought. It's not so bad, there's the guarantee or the legal guarantee, we thought. For a brand like Siemens, which allegedly is set to quality and customer satisfaction, you should really have to make about no head for 7 months, we thought!
Unfortunately, you sent us then a service technician to the house, who kept us completely calcified heater under my nose and told us that we would have caused the damage himself (due to incorrect washing manner using too much detergent, using hard water, etc. pp) and the damage will therefore not be covered by the warranty. That is, he first presented us a nice statement and á asked us also still the same 4 packs descaler 5 left there and invoiced. Unfortunately, my wife was at home, and has put up with this insolence and silly sayings! By the way, our city water has a medium hardness and our old machine (privilege) is run with the same water 11 years without any problems. These never had to be descaled or the like.
Long story short: Whether in this life or the next, NEVER AGAIN !!! SIEMENS
PS: At the present cycle (3 days after the "repair") we had the way directly back an error message. For this purpose I sign then probably again at Siemens at the customer hotline, am looking forward to the conversation! Once the device is working again, I'll probably beat up on Ebay Classifieds and buy myself a genuine German brand equipment from Miele. Since I pay then also like to double or more, if I have this anger and humble service of Siemens no longer has to do this to me!
