The new album of Puhdys has become one of their best, it surpasses anything mediocre regular predecessor "satisfied" (okay, in between there was the Christmas album "December days" and the cover album "Undercover", which from the usual Style but both departed) to length and has become even better than my previous Favorite "Wild Peace". The Puhdys seem their new, more modern style now finally found, and the album is like all of a piece, while its predecessor Some songs, such as "Stars" as a fraction within the album appeared. "Everything has his time "I can hear the other hand through from beginning to end, without a song übetrspringen to have to. Is a pity that there are this time become only 11 songs, but rather so, as if there had been there 2-3 Fülllieder. Very pleasing, too, that this time several harder and at the same time but melancholic songs in the style of "Wild Peace" Here are. You have just found back to their hard rock roots, they on the albums have unfortunately somewhat neglected before "Wild Peace" (which I like albums "Free as the Geier "or" like an angel "also like very much, but somehow missing something). The bottom line is a really good album that proves that the time of Puhdys is far expired. Now to the songs in detail: Sailboat: The opening track of the album is a little harder song in the style of "Wild Peace" or "total immunity", which is still a bit more melancholic than the songs listed. Definitely a very successful start. 4/5 points Everything has it's time: It continues with a ballad that convince both lyrically of musicality can. It is sung to the constant change which each of us at some point all of a sudden can meet. This text is accompanied by a slightly melancholic melody. More of a Puhdys classic song, but at the highest level. 4.5 / 5 points My Second Life: A slightly faster song, but nowhere near as hard comes as "sailboat", which is likely to be on the acoustic guitar accompaniment in the first place. Here is sung, what Machine would make in the next life in 100 years everything is different. Not a bad song, but definitely not a highlight of the album. 3/5 points Future: A highlight of the album, however, is again the next song "Future". The guitars sound here again a little harder, but the mood of the song is otherwise a bit quieter. For me one of the best songs on the album, the terrific before the lyrical theme "fear the future "converts. 4.5 / 5 points Clones me: Here is rocked properly, according to "The King" the second hardest song on the album. However, the tune can not convince me completely, so that the song only good Mediocrity is. The text is a bit absurd and is about a stranded here Aliens who wants to be cloned by Dieter Birr, so that he no longer quite is alone here. The message of the song, that the criticism of frivolous cloning, if it because at some point reality is yet to come. 3.5 / 5 points The dream: Now it is innovative. The rhythm of this ballad is very untypical Puhdys, and and the English chorus, sung by the Bell, Book & Candle singer, acting on the first look for Puhdys ratios bit strange. Machine speaks against more here as he sings, a text which deals with an unfulfillable dream. But just these unusual elements are the ones who by frequent listening to the strengths of the song become. In between then sound along with some heavier guitars on the song the loosen slightly. 4/45 points Rain: This song is a classic Puhdys ballad and the only song on the album, which of Quaster is sung. So you know the Puhdys ballads, and so do you love them. Of the Song is in the tradition of songs like "Like a stream" or "I feel". 4/5 points Thoughts: For me, the weakest song on the album. Although it is a classic Puhdys- Song, but somehow "heard 1000 times" too much like sounds. The song is by no if bad, but compared to the other, sometimes quite innovative, songs, it is a little to average. 2.5 / 5 points The king: The hardest song on the album, which is about a king who has other plans, as his people, which by loud "Yes" - proclaims his opinion and "No" -Brüllen. Despite the Hardness is the song but always very melodic, making it better for me than "Clones me". This song proves in any case that the Puhdys also the 36th year of her career the harsh sounds still are. 4.5 / 5 Port song: This ballad is unusually depressed for Puhdys ratios, it reminds me a bit of Rammstein's "Without You", only with a better song and at a higher level. In the History of the song wins the song properly at power, but falls just then the sluggish pace. Almost a kind of "Doom-ballad" (of course in moderate and not more violent form). For me it's the best song on the album, because it also by text can absolutely convince her. 5/5 points What do you need: Finally, there is still a classic Puhdys good mood rockers, the successful one Is ending the album. 3.5 / 5 points Conclusion: One of the best, for me, even the best Puhdys album! :-)
