The case is plastic. Transparent cover, black for the background. It opens on one side of its length. It is protected by cardboard black / silver, fine, sliding open at its ends, with grained and shiny. Everything is coated.
The fountain pen is very light. Warning! The pen of Fine Prera is very thin or slightly more than a European Extra Fine. After a quick start, it glides relatively good on paper without scratching or hang. The line is regular, more accurate and purposes. But it requires a slower write rate, longer contact on paper, not to be too weak. It is obvious on quality paper (Oxford, Clairefontaine).
The body and the block are excellent ergonomic comfort, very smooth. No annoying element for the hand. If you wish to extend the cap suit, it will measure about 12 cm. But it is too heavy for me: almost half of the total weight. Clipped closure. The clip is of good thickness and looks solid.
The converter is an integral part of the fountain pen. It is expected to stay in its housing, to suck the ink (rotary system) by dipping the pen.
I do not use the ink cartridge currently. But it can still be used, supplied to the syringe. Otherwise, its total length is 6 cm, useful for filling of 5 cm.
The aesthetic is very nice and neat. In traditional form, transparency and colored caps provide modernism note fountain pen. The strength is entrusting the Master of Time.
But already, this fountain pen meets many criteria I especially appreciate: light, but not too small, very comfortable for the hand, aesthetic; fine, precise and soft feather.
Also, needless to embark on the search for a converter or a cartridge that would suit him. Everything is served in a housing.
An award of excellence for packaging more meticulous. A small silver label fitted on the clip perfect. Everything is simply aesthetic, thoughtful and helpful!
Overall an excellent value that has all the Nipponese touches.
