I loaded the game not as a physical disk, but via MarketPlace down. That should the content of my recession but not stand in the way.
Since I am not in the long texts in recessions I summarize it briefly into individual groups:
- History (5 stars):
The story of the game is so far I could not find 100% linear. By services performed by the player decisions this can be minimally changed and makes the game even more exciting the second time around. It seems to me also, as if this story runs parallel to the TV series. But since the second season will probably disclose more.
- Newcomers friendliness (5 stars):
You have the TV series do not know what makes the game for newcomers in the zombie world is certainly very easy for this game.
- Control (4 stars):
Control of the game is extremely simple chosen. more than four buttons for the language course and to interact with the environment does not exist. Then look still that and run with the two sticks. In the download version can be from "I think" Episode 4 also shoot with the right trigger yet, which simplifies the control even more. The CD version of the perhaps from Episode 1 before that. A star deduction I admit that at alternate camera and not adapted to the directions of the sticks and you simply run back.
- Difficulty (4 stars):
From time to time, the game is really tricky. But for point and click adventure game fans, there is nothing strange what one finds there.
- Variety: (5 stars):
As may be expected in the game, much is spoken to spread an atmosphere. The story itself is real but varied from episode to episode, offering something new.
- Replayability (4 stars):
So I would rate the replay value as very high. That I justify as follows. You play at first but very emotional (You would never yell at a child or treat evil). Since it first so plays how it deemed best, in mind the question always remains. What if I do play it differently ?! So to play it again and wants to be "evil". For my part I've tried it, but you will very quickly "loving". I think that shows how much can entrain a history and influences.
- Playing time (4 stars):
So I would say you need per episode certainly so 1-2 hours. Which can vary. I think in any case, the episodes are structured exactly right. Only the number of episodes (five in number) are a bit poor. I wait for Season 2, 3 and more.
- Atmosphere (5 stars):
As mentioned at the replayability, the game captivates immensely. Who can empathize with the story and characters, which will have some fun with it. Horror, fright and fear certainly comes on every time when he did not want to mark the tough bloke in front of his friends. I would say that if everyone is honest, the game captures and binds an immensely to the characters.
- Language (4 stars):
"Unfortunately," the game is completely in English OV speech, but for those who know the language not so good for the text is read in German of course. A German version would be happy yet, but is not absolutely necessary.
- Conclusion:
The game is in and of itself really succeeded. There is hardly criticisms.
For those who are on point and click a must, who is additionally a fan of TV series or comics. Purchase required!
You may only expect not a game which is aimed at the large mass. Here it is not about shooting action, battles and have 1000 life. Dead means dead here and restarting. One considers not only once before you do something. So a game with a lot of charm. I'm waiting for more seasons.
I write this recession, moreover, for the reason to be deterred not all of the negative votes. Anyone who reads the game description exactly who knows what to expect and would not be disappointed. I want fans of the P & C Adventures therefore somewhat encourage the game to pick up (the Market Place there is to my knowledge even currently 50% on all the episodes. The first even free for testing.) So, if necessary, and then buy testing. Just to ... trust you ... it is worth and has not so often awarded for no reason.)
